The main character of this documentary is MamaAdama Camara. Professional dancer who worked for the most important Ballets of the country. She goes back home every year and stays for a few months with her big family. It will be the scheme of her relationships to define the others characters that will be part of her tail about herself and Africa. We will meet her many relatives who live in the court, older and younger brothers with their own families, all together in a big group that matches with her work relations. We will meet artists, diplomatic staff, ministers of culture and entertainment, members from non-governamental organizations. There will be her European pupils that every year join her in Guinea for intensive courses.

Mama Adama Camara est sans aucun doute le personnage principal du film. Danseuse professionnelle, elle a travaillé au sein des plus grands Ballets du pays. Elle revient chez elle chaque année pour y passer plusieurs mois dans sa grande famille. Nous irons à la rencontre des nombreux membres familiaux, frères ainés et cadets dans leurs familles respectives, tous ensemble dans une grande fresque se complétant avec ses relations professionelles. Nous rencontrerons des artistes, fonctionnaires d’etat, ministres d’état, ministres de la culture et du spectacle, membres d’organisations non gouvernementales. Il y aura ses élèves européens qui chaque année la rejoigne en Guinée pour un cours de sanse intensif.

Ballerina professionista che ha lavorato con i più importanti Balletti del paese. Torna a casa ogni anno e trascorre mesi interi con la sua grande famiglia. Sarà lo schema delle sue relazioni a determinare gli altri personaggi che faranno da sponda al suo racconto di sé e dell’Africa. Incontreremo i suoi numerosi familiari che abitano nella corte, fratelli maggiori e minori con le rispettive famiglie, tutti insieme in un grande affresco corale che si completa con le sue relazioni lavorative. Incontreremo artisti, funzionari di stato, ministri della cultura e dello spettacolo, membri di organizzazioni non governative. Ci saranno i suoi allievi europei che ogni anno la raggiungono in Guinea per uno stage intensivo di corsi.
